Mandala Pooja Season

Mandala Pooja Season is an important 41-day period of austerity and devotion observed at the Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple in Kerala. It begins in the Malayalam month of Vrischikam (November–December) and is considered highly auspicious for Lord Krishna devotees. During this period, pilgrims, especially men, observe strict vrithams (fasts), wear simple attire, and follow disciplined spiritual practices, including daily prayers, chanting, and temple visits. Special rituals, Abhishekams, and devotional programs are conducted at the temple, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The Mandala Pooja Season is also associated with the famous Guruvayur Ekadasi, which draws thousands of devotees seeking blessings and divine grace. Janmashtami

Janmashtami is a major Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is observed on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Krishna Paksha (waning moon) in the month of Bhadrapada (August–September). Devotees observe fasting, sing devotional songs, and perform midnight celebrations, as Krishna is believed to have been born at midnight. Vishu

Vishu is a traditional Hindu festival celebrated in Kerala, marking the beginning of the Malayalam New Year.
